I am an analyst and technologist in the energy commodity trading industry. During my time in this industry I developed a massively parallel supercomputer (a 660-cpu Linux machine for Williams Co.); I pioneered the use of natural gas flow data to model NG supply and demand (at Louis Dreyfus); and I created the first-ever Tableau-based interactive weather map (at Munich Re).
My responsibilities have included commodity market supply/demand/price analysis, full life-cycle business intelligence, risk management, and computational platform development. I have worked with clients, quants, trade desks, risk management and senior management. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of managing teams, teaching, mentoring, and writing about analytics and technology.
I am currently focused on full-stack Python web-app development for options risk management.
