Designed, developed and supervised the software development life cycle of middleware applications that process a realtime flight information data feed using C# and .NET web services technology. The system receives flight information in XML files where they are parsed, added to the flight database and alerts were generated based on off-gate, takeoff, landing, on-gate, delayed, diverted, cancelled flight events. Interprocess communication and alert services were developed using Jabber instant messaging technologies.

SENIOR APPLICATION ARCHITECT – June 2003 to Nov 2005.
In charge of the full development life cycle (SDLC) of several healthcare billing and document imaging applications. Designed and developed a medical document imaging and indexing system using .NET C# and .NET web services. Wrote Windows services in Python to receive and parse ER logs text document and TIFF images to be imported into the document imaging system. Designed and developed the Chart Manager application (v1.0 developed in VB6, InstallShield and v2.0 C#) to scan patients paper charts and transfer the scanned images using FTP and .NET web services (SOAP). Developed NT windows services to manipulate (LeadTools) and import medical chart images and XML data into our imaging system (Optika Accorde). Converted medical billing information between XML and HL7 to exchange information between billing systems (Clinix). Backend file and image manipulation and workflow was developed using Python 2.4.

SENIOR ARCHITECT – July 2002 to June 2003.
Designed and developed a Loyalty and Frequency server application using VB6, MS-SQL. Developed a Loyalty and Gift Card application for the Dassault Talento POS terminal using C/C++ language. Coded cardholder and merchant web based reporting using ASP.

PROJECT LEADER - October 1999 to July 2002.
Designed and developed several Internet applications using Python and C++/Qt. Developed a TCP/IP based instant messenger, chat and alert system for the cargo exchange industry (client and server). Developed a multiplatform messaging client application using C++, Qt. The messaging server was developed with Python 2.2 and Medusa. Also developed an online payment system for credit cards, EFT and invoicing. Designed and developed backend business process using Tibco Rendezvous, Microsoft Message Queues, Java, Avalon/Phoenix framework.

As Lead Developer I designed and developed the Loyalty & Frequency and Electronic Gift Certificates systems. This required the following components:
Developed a Frequency and Gift Certificate application for the VeriFone Omni and Dassault Talento credit card terminals using C language. Design and
implementation of the VISA-II protocol and serial communication host application using Visual Basic. Developed transaction processing host based on
TCP/IP protocol socket connections. Developed host communication protocol library in C++ for 32 bits Windows and DOS. Programmed a C/C++ API interface for Point Of Sale (POS) interfacing to the transaction processing host. Designed all MS-SQL database tables. Developed Web based cardholder and merchant online reporting system using InterDev, Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), VBScripts and JavaScripts interfacing to MS-SQL 6.5 database. This systems required use of Microsoft NT/Server 4.0, IIS, ASP, MS-SQL, XML, Java, Visual Basic 6, MSVC and Borland C++.

Developed an object oriented database registry for the Windows 95 version of Watchdog using MSVC++ v4.2 compiler, and MFC classes. Developed the Executive Support System's application manager and main user interface using OS/2, Presentation Manager (PM), Microsoft C 5.1 and IBM C/2 compilers, Microsoft Windows and utilities. This required using OS/2 processes and threads, PM bitmaps, standard and user defined PM controls, interprocess message passing (DDE). Also developed internal utilities for translating bitmaps between StoryBoard and Presentation Manager formats.

Interfacing IBM-XT with 'ASTRA' medical laboratory analyzer. The PC collected patient's data, downloaded the data to the instrument, collected the results data and reported the results and normal values depending on the patient's sex and age. Also kept historical data and instrument calibration.
